Stephanie Lenox Response
Sadly I was not able to see Stephanie Lenox due to scheduling conflicts, but instead I read her poem "Venus de Milo." This poem is about a doll that does no have its arms and this was very interesting since it was named Venus de Milo. The real Venus de Milo is a sculpture that is currently located in the louvre museum in Paris and also has no arms and is widely known for this fact. I found the last sentence very intriguing because one reading that you can get out of it that true beauty is actually imperfect. Everyone that is seen as beautiful in the world has imperfections whether you no about it or not, no one person is perfect.
